This business was actually sold back in 2020 towards the end to a Leslie. I did so much research and the original owner K.carter gave up ownership after marriage and I guess a child. Due to this business having mixed reviews and some really good yet bad a class action
Lawsuit can’t be placed. They were legit and just like any other business after ownership things get tricky. I believe Leslie was also chinese and they didn’t use the US vendor anymore. Really sucks because I never received as well but my sister claimed to have received very good customer support from the original

I placed an order as well. They took $327 from me or more. No hair, no refund, nothing. It's been 3 years. Their website gone and redirected to a toyota dealership. How do we find them and get our money back? I still have all the emails and evidence. Why has nothing been done about this? Does anyone know how and what we can do to find these thieves?

I’m not sure if this company is still operating under this name or any other name but I placed and order August 6, 2020 and it’s now Jan 27, 2022 and no hair, no refund, no store credit. These people are the worst and you reap what you sow. She will most definitely reap for her wrong doings and I hope it’s through legal actions.

I ordered a unit from this company in August of 2020. They claimed shipping was delayed due to the California fires. I gave them a little time to get things together when I get an email in October stating they just shipped out a lot of orders. After a couple of weeks, still no item. I then send an email asking for my money back to which they offered me store credit. I refused it and said I wanted my money. I was speaking with someone named Zaire. I was told that I would get a refund that they never returned to me and then stated my bank should be able to pull it back. This did not happen, so I have still been contacting them and my email came back as non delivered because the email address no longer exists.

I have never gone through so much headache as I have gone through with their company! It is a shame it is a black-owned business but yet scheming people from their money. I have ordered my item back in March and they emailed me in May that there were some shipping problems and issued me a store credit. Ok...I let that slide and decided to use the store credit to get another wig in May. We are in July and it still shows awaiting shipment. Why?! I have heard every excuse in the book and it's funny I eep corresponding with the same two customer service reps! Akeem and Jobi! I never want to deal business with their company anymore and you guys make it look bad for other black businesses who are really genuine and caters to their customers. They are so busy scamming and that business needs to be shut down and that's coming from a real buyer who has yet gotten her item or money back!

I placed an order with this company on 1-9-21 for two wigs. The cost of the two wigs came to $392.51 I have yet to receive my order as of this complaint on 7/5/21. It was hard to get in contact with someone through the WhatsApp when I reached out to them but I eventually was about to get in contact with someone through Facebook messaging. I has been the same apology about being sorry for the inconvenience and trying to get the best quality hairs. They do offer a refund in the form of a store credit or you can continue to wait for your order. If you take the credit then it is put in a "dashboard" and you can reorder your merchandise and it will be priority. I been given different dates of when my order would be shipped and of course it was not. They claim they are waiting to receive a large shipment that is over 6 months late. I was given a ship date of April 5, 21 back on Feb 18, 21 so I said ok. April 5th came and nothing stating my order had been shipped. Sent another message on April 20, 21 no response. Sent another message on May 5, 21 and was told it should be shipped by May 20, 21 as that was when the next batch of hair was being shipped. On May 19, 21 I was given the option to receive a refund in the form of a store credit or continue waiting and to receive weekly updates. None of this has happened. On June 8th someone with the name of Keziah who was willing to assist me if I wanted a refund. I asked how long was the store credit good for (as I really don't want to order from this company again) and I inquired if my wigs had even been made. ( how can you guarantee something if you keep saying you are replenishing the hairs) the only response given was once I make an order again , it would be put at the top of the priority list. The only emails I have received from this company are related to sales they are having. On July 5, 21 I received an email stating that the company had moved. The new email is beautyluxehair.myshopify.com. I'm over it the business has been taken over by "New" Management I really just think I got scammed never again will I order from them .

I ordered a wig September 2020 I spent 270.00 on this wig. I have not received the hair customer service does not respond and I am To outdone. I have never had this experience from any other company. I emailed them and asked for some type of explanation. After the last complaint now the web site doesn’t work.
I am contacting you in regards to order 56. My ordering from you has been the longest process that I have ever experienced in ordering hair. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied your website gives you all these great reviews but my experience has been horrible. I am not one to tear down a black owned business I would rather support. I’m not a rich person and I don’t have monies to just throw and or give away. I am asking that you please rectify my order or refund it and you will never have to worry about me as a consumer ever again. We hate to think that it’s our people with the worst service but disappointed does not even describe the way I feel as a customer. This company also known as upper echelon is a complete scam I tried to order from them twice the first time they blamed things in covid and refunded my money this was last year so I tried again this year and once again received nothing. I came my bank after a month of nothing and bogus responses and contacted klarna unfortunately I could not get my money back and the company started asking me to write a positive review and I refused they also keep sending me all of these bs coupons. The owner name is kareesha Carter and she’s a fraud. Google upper echelon lux beauty and you’ll find that this company practices scamming people and refuses refunds besides the form of store credit. This company is a whole scam! Ordered my wig in July 2020, still have not received my unit. They will not issue a refund only store credit. What sense does that make? Why would I order again if I never received my initial order? The sad thing is that they claim to be a black owned business, I am embarrassed of your business methods. They have changed their name from upper echelon lux beauty. If you search the old name on Facebook you’ll find they no longer post from that page and their ig is rarely used and all comments are deleted or filtered. I myself can not comment on the page along with a few other ladies because that’s how they role. You’ll also see in their profile description they address they are real and if someone have to say they are a real company well then that alone speaks for itself. Google upper echelon lux beauty and you will find the claims to the BBB and scam pulse website. This hair company have one review from one person on YouTube and then then the hair shown was crappy. all the reviews on the website are FAKE! if you read them you’ll find that their all repeats of the same comments but worded differently and everyone gives this company 5 stars ?! Lol let’s be real you can’t have 5 star reviews on all your hair be this large of a company. This company is ran by a black woman so yes it is “Black owned”. Her name is also on Google associated with upper echelon lux beauty. Her name is Kareesha Carter. You’ll see her making comments on both upper and beauty lux and she also creates fake pages to comment and say it’s legit, don’t fall for it. All the fake pages only have one photo of a female and each of those photos on the fake accounts were all added the same day (seems fishy right). Her ig handle is therealk.maldonado

Her old ig stories will show her affiliation with the company but she no longer post it because a few ladies from scam pulse was calling her out on her scam and she is now apparently no longer manager of the company. ?

I say all and do all of this to warn ladies. Not only have I been scammed and luckily caught it on time because I told my sister I had ordered from them and she immediately sent me the scam pulse link. Unfortunately a lot of women trusted this company and have lost their money. I hope this can help save another queen from being scammed. I do this out of kindess.

The lady K Maldonado has been doing this since 2017. She has changed the name of the company SEVERAL TIMES AND SCAMMED PEOPLE. SHES PRETENDING SHE DOESNT OWN THE BUSINESS BY PUTTING IT UNDER A NEW NAME. THIS IS ILLEGAL. THIS IS WHY BLACK BUSINESSES GET A BAD NAME. ITS NOT upper ecehlon luxe beauty. They’ve changed it to LUXE BEAUTY. BEFORE THAT IT WAS NAWANDA SOMETHING HAIR. BEFORE THAT IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE. This is how she was buying brand new Mercedes. WITH OUR MONEY. I suggest you report her page for scamming because she still shows ownership on her page. I messaged her regarding the issue at hand. This is what she said.

“ Hi love I don’t have a company that does orders anymore. If your referring to the hair company I have ownership away last year when I was pregnant. I don’t own that company anymore ?”

I don’t know if she’s in cahoots with the “new owner” but something isn’t right. I used my store credit to buy something just to see if it would go through. It did. I got a confirmation email too. It’s been more than 3 weeks. I haven’t received nothing. That’s when I knew this was reoccurring. The reviews on the main page of the website DOESNT even match the reviews under the individual products. They have been using other peoples content but it was never this bad. I’m still trying to figure out who the new owner is. I’ve already told her about herself Bc this wasn’t her first time. The company was under another name YEARS AGO. K MALDONADO IS NOT SLICK. I will find out a way for this to be all over and the website reported Bc THEY ARE STILL LETTING PEOPLE PURCHASE THINGS THAT ARENT THERE.

That’s weird because when I spoke to her last year she claimed to be the owner and had “just had her baby.” We spoke by phone around July 2020. She stated then she’d been out but had returned and would fix my issue, but never did. Not to mention I recall some articles being posted on here some time back about her being a business owner of upper echelon and this was all definitely post baby. I get if she wants to distance herself from the issues of that company, but no need to lie...especially if you can’t keep the story straight
