I purchased a wig on 9/25 I have reached out to this company several times they are unwilling to refund and have no idea if they will ship my product I have talked to several customer service employees and they are no help.. I want a full refund of my money this is the worst company I have ever dealt with I can’t believe they are refuse to refund my money and they have scammed so many people

I ordered a wig in mid August which cost me over $300. I used Klarna for payment. It is now November and I have not received anything. I’ve emailed them multiple times and while I do receive responses, it is literally a copy/paste response with the same run around over and over again. It’s quite frustrating as I see ads of their product on social media claiming that they are now shipping and product will be available...constantly lying to future customers to get their money. If you are truly behind due to Covid, then STOP advertising your product trying to make more sales when you haven’t shipped out anything to the customers who have already paid. We are waiting patiently and it is insulting to see your company constantly lying on social media about how certain items are back in stock.

I personally don’t think Upper Echelon are a “scam” company, I think the creator of the wigs/hair are international (in another country) and Upper Echelon has to wait for them to finish making the actual wigs. That has to be the only logic. If that is not the case, your company is for sure a scam and should be called out.

I ordered my hair September 3 and have been getting the run around ever since. They refuse to give me back my money, why would I want a store credit if you did not send my 1st order. I have ordered another wig from another company and received it within a week. Hell I even order hand painted sneakers after I ordered my hair and i already received them. You hair is NOT that great to wait this long. They held a contest and the winner received her order before paying customers. I will be disputing this charge with my bank

I want to warn every one of the untrustworthy practices of this alleged business, which panders images and videos of Black Hair Stylists and Professionals, claiming to be "Black-owned" (communications say otherwise); the pandemic and California wildfires ? as a reason for not refunding my $225.98.

Paid thru Klarna, Upper Echelon Beauty (UELB) Upper Echelon Lux beauty LLC never shipped the items I ordered back in AUGUST. Agreed to refund me in SEPTEMBER.
And now, in collaboration with Klarna, has the audacity in NOVEMBER to tell me: UELB does not issue refunds. With facts showing I never received the items, the alleged tracking number right up today (Nov. 3) still has a status of "Pre-Shipment" from AUGUST 12.

The Facts w/ Receipts can be found on FB https://www.facebook.com/spencerurs/posts/396125368429338:

-August 11, received a tracking notification that order #20679 was shipped.
-September 1, the status of the order never changed from " August 12, 2020 Pre Shipment" (see below)
-September 1, contacted vendor Upper Echelon Beauty (UELB)
-September 1, UELB responded stating: "I hope we can ship it to you by this week. You'll receive your tracking number, once we shipped it out." See attached email from UELB at Sep 1, 2020, 7:19 PM
-September 1, 9:39PM, I responded stating if the order was not received by Friday, September 4 to issue a refund of $225.98.
-September 2, 5:40 PM: Per UELB the order was to ship Friday, September 4 with a new tracking number.
-September 5: I opened dispute with Klarna T5427WPK-1 flagging the order as fraudulent since the tracking nor items were received. And documented that I do not wish to continue any business with UELB and to discontinue / pause any further withdrawals.
-September 9: UELB stated, "Our refund process will take 10 to 14 working days.You’ll receive an email confirmation in your bank once we processed it." See attached.
-September 25: I emailed Klarna and UELB requesting a status of my refund
-September 25: UELB replied using the pandemic and wildfires as the reason my electronic payment of $225.98 was not refunded. Then extending their processing time to 3 to 4 WEEKS. See attached.
-September 29: I requested a status.
-September 29: UELB said they would provide a status when they have an update.
-October: I escalated the dispute with Klarna to their "Escalation Team".
-November 2: Klarna is denying my refund basing it on UELB policy, which they forfeited when the order was never fulfilled by them.

This is not a buyer's remorse scenario. UELB agreed to a refund because they never completed the transaction. They cannot now decide, 2 months later, to recant their obligation. I have been beyond considerate, professional and patient.

The lack of accountability is unacceptable and should NOT fall unto me as the consumer. I followed every policy posted by UELB and Klarna. What you won't do is STEAL my $225.98, I don't care how de minimis you feel it is.

My bank and Attorney are engaged.

I also ordered in Aug and got the same responses and I was patient and understood the situation in the beginning. When you keep telling me I should receive a tracking # any day for weeks and here we are almost 3 months later, I just want my money in which I demanded several time now just to be told the policy has change to store credit. That is unacceptable! I was just told by the "manager" last week that they are out of stock now and are expecting a shipment but no date on when. Why continue to take orders and consumers hard earned money if you do not have enough product. Even though I was never told until now they are out of product, I'm still being told I can only get store credit but in the hell would I ever patronize this company again. They really need to start issuing refunds to all items that have not shipped yet. I've filed complaints with several organizations.

I purchased an order in august of 2020. I requested a refund and they told me I can only get store credit. I sent numerous text emails requesting to speak to a person. I still never got that. I am also going through the same thing with Upper Echelon Lux Beauty and I would love to be apart of any class action lawsuit against them because I am also filling a suit against them to get a refund for an order that I placed 7 weeks ago that was never shipped and she only wants to give me a store credit but I have no plans to ever order from this company again.

I placed an order 8/17/20 and a week later received an email saying that due to Covid and the wild fires in CA there would be a delay but only a few days. I don't even want to explain all the emails I've sent but there were 20+ plus sent back and forth. They always said they were doing a mass shipment, to expect a tracking # any day now, my order was marked priority ect. All BS. I demanded a refund several times and was told the refund policy changed to store credit but if my order has not even shipped yet why not refund my damn money. This is definitely a scam and I filed a complaint with BBB, FTC and my bank. I just emailed management again to be told they ran out of product and when it comes in I will priority AGAIN. I just want my damn money back. They keep talking about store credit as if I'll ever patronize them again. I'm still curious to know if anyone has ever received an order from this company because it seems that we all have been scammed.

Same with me! But see idk who to go through because I use Klarna, so my bank statements won’t show it as payment to them. Therefore I’m sure my bank will say contact Klarna who said contact the company.

Wow. Same with me I ordered two wigs, spent between 500-600 total! Ordered it back in august and was told in a September (right before the new no refund policy) that they would be sending me a updated link and shipping my order out with the new batch. Well a month later, still no update. I just want my hair yall

File a dispute with Klarna. Their website says that you're only billed when the item ships. You should not have been billed period. That's the scam about the company. Klarna should not have been told that items have shipped when they have not. An audit/investigation would reveal this.

I ordered a 200$ wig in August also. She even gave me my confermation number that I have misplaced I also got the runaround about the fires and The covid-19 I do have the bank statement and I would love to join the class action lawsuit Paris please give more info

Product orders on August 7th and I still have yet to receive my order..I pod an additional $65 for a total of $270.00 to expedite my order. I reached out because I still had not received my order and was told due to Covid orders were delayed but would be shipped. I waited another 10 days and still had not received my order and attempted to call no answer..I then reached out via live chat and was told due to Covid and now the wild fires in California my order would be yet again held up and to allow 5-10 days. I then requested a refund and was told I would get it “in full”..I waited a few days and co tatted the yet again and was told “ Due to customer fraud they were only giving store credit”..I have reached out to this company so many times and have been given the run around at every turn...Very dishonest company and I still have not received a refund almost three months!

I ordered my product on August 7th and paid and additional $65 to expedite shipping for a total of $270.00.. I had not received my product within the time frame the product was promised so I attempted to call the number and got no answer..I then went onto the live chat on the website and talked with a customer service rep named Kezia or something similar..She explained due to Covid and safety issues shipping was taking much longer..I allowed 10 days and then it began it was now the wild fires and Covid but my product would be shipped out on Monday “Awaiting fulfillment” my account was updated to that status and then another status..Finally I reached out again and spoke to the same name on the live chat and was promised a refund “in full” and to allow 10 business days not including week ends or holidays...after those 10 days I attempt to contact the company by phone and got no answer so again to the live chat where I was told due to customer fraud there will be no refunds only my store credit..I declined the store credit and was told sorry there are no further options.. I called the number again and someone answered and said wrong number..This company is horrible!
