it has a voice text as well as it saying Amazon your card was charged $189.00 for a Fitbit smart wristband orderid#92312482 if unauthorized call 888-662-1167 now Ref number. b2ce2768a7ee0 was never made on my account I've checked both my accounts with bank and amazon, so they are making purchases for me that was never even purchased at all

Got a call from a person with an accent who said an order had been placed on my account for an apple laptop and another item which I've forgotten. The order was placed from New York. Had I placed it? I said I had not, and he said they had made a second Amazon account in my name, and made orders from New York and Houston. He asked me to confirm my phone number and zip code. I refused and said I would call the police myself. He offered to get a supervisor if I didn't trust him and assured me that they did not have access to my personal information. I hung up.

Caller claimed to be from Amazon customer service, and wanted to verify a suspicious purchase from my account, which was apparently an apple laptop and airpods for a total of over $1000 in Memphis, TN. I asked for the name associated with the account as the caller did not address me by a name (and I've been experiencing some wrong number calls lately for the previous owner of my number). They asked me my name, which i gave them, and they told me two accounts exist with my name. I repeatedly said I don't have an account under this phone number, and they asked if purchases made in Virginia, Rhode Island, and some other state sounded familiar, if I'd lost my card or given out the info to anyone (all no's from me). I also repeatedly asked for the last 4 digits of the card that made the purchase, no reply - but they could could somehow tell in 30 sec that "fraudulent" credit card accounts were opened with several major banks (Wells Fargo, Chase, etc.) using just my name; I did not give them any information they could use to check anything credit-related (no SSN, account numbers, birthday, or address associated with any of those) and, first and foremost, this is not something Amazon can do. I immediately said I had another call and hung up.

Received a text entitled "Amazon Refund Notification". Message stated that "the seller associated with your recent order has been banned from Amazon platform due to policy violations. As a result, you are eligible for a full refund, and no return of the items is required. Kindly complete your request within 24 hours". A link was provided to submit the refund request. I unfortunately clicked the link which took me to Amazon's page requesting my password. I checked my orders and there was nothing to indicate it wasn't going to be sent. I just hope that nothing else was compromised. I did not give out any other information. I just hope that I didn't go too far into this scam to be adversely affected.

Logged into my Amazon account and there was a yellow banner on time indicating my account was locked due to suspicious activity and asked me to call a number. When I called the number they asked me to download a desktop app and then I hung up. I called Amazon and they told me that wasn't them. I tried looking up the number in my call log and it was gone.

This person saying that he represented Amazon asked me about a order that I had placed for a laptop for the amount of $1100 dollars was going to be delivered and needed more information. I told him that I did not order any laptop, he then wanted information about my bank and if I had any other bank accounts, I then told him that I wasn't going to give Any such information and he then started to get an attitude with me and thats when I hung up.

He first told me his name was Samuel Kim and his ID # was AMZ09012
