Phone call stating "my order valued at over $900.00 was being delivered today and would be charged to my Amazon account. I have no undelivered orders. I inquired what the order was. I was told an Ipad. As I never use Apple products I really knew something was suspicious. The caller stated he needed to verify my name and address. If he was from Amazon he would know this information. I said that to him. When he attempted to verify the information he had I called him out on his being from Amazon because we recently issued an address change. This is when he started back pedaling. I informed him I suspected this as fraud and would report the call and phone number to the PA AG office and the BBB. I promptly hung up. I removed all credit cards from my Amazon wallet and verified no new charges on the card. I filled out the online complaint form with Amazon. I informed them they obviously have a breach and I would be passing the information along.

I received an email from Amazon saying my Prime membership was set to renew on May 27th, but the card associated with my prime membership needed to be updated. It went on to say they wanted me to update the default card, and please sign the pdf document attached to this email. They said they would try to charge other cards to try to stop Amazon prime membership from being suspended but if they can't it will be suspended, sincerely the Amazon Prime Team.

Norton security bought thru Amazon.

April 6, I think - "This is Amazon Services. Your Prime Service will be automatically renewed in the amount of $99.99 and your bank account debited. Call to cancel, or press 1 to speak to a representative." I received another call on April 7, 8:55 am, from 1-604-266-3500, saying "Your Amazon account will be charged $750. Press 1 to cancel payment & ask for a refund." I do not have an Amazon account of any kind. I receive 3-4 of these types of calls every day, and although I don't pick up to answer these calls, it's very annoying and fraudulent. All calls are pre-recorded messagesrobocalls.

2 calls in a row received yesterday, one at 4:44 pm and the next, exactly the same, received at 5:03 pm. Yesterday, I reported to you 2 additional calls from "Amazon", but from 2 different numbers. So, so far, 4 different numbers have appeared on my phone.

I received this text, on 4/23/23 on or about 1630, "The Shipping of your WANBO TT Portable Projector Netflix-Certified, $399 has been charged from your card. Not you? Call us: +18773057299" from (347)-394-5354. I called the number mentioned in the body of the text. The recipient of the call identified himself as an Amazon Employee named "Joy Connor" with employee number "AMAZ9546". I told him that I didn't order the product. He(Joy) asked if I had received a refund. I told him not that I was aware if I had. He instructed me to login into my financial institution account to see if I had. I informed him that I had not. He asked me if I had Zelle, and asked me to activate it in my bank account. I informed him that I could barely understand him given his heavy accent and loud background noise. He instructed me to download the application, "Any Desk", to my device. I did, not knowing, he would have control of my device. I noticed some onscreen activity that looked like he was withdrawing funds from account, and asked him about it. He said he wasn't and continued investigating the incident surrounding the purchase. An onscreen notification, appeared onscreen, advising that I had reached my daily withdrawal limit of $500. Two names, "Jiaming Chen" and "David Abuga", appeared onscreen while he was investigating the incidentHe stated he would have to call me back, the next morning, as he couldn't complete the investigation at the time. I received an email from CU asking if I had authorized "Jiaming Chen" access to my account. I realized then that I was the victim of a scam. I removed the "Any Desk" app, changed my online banking and Amazon passwords, deleted credit card info from my Amazon account, and purposely entered incorrect login info to freeze my accounts. My bank account was closed and a new account was opened. The scammer, was true to his word, and attempted to contact me the following morning. His attempts went unanswered!

Other numbers used, by the scammer, were (206)426-5917 and (325)550-6511.
