Website for a “certified IQ test” mentioned a ONE-TIME fee of $1.99 to get your test results. I was initially charged that amount, but then a $25 charge hit my account that same day, a $5 charge hit 2 days later, and another $25 charge hit a week later. Website uses a toll-free number, I’d assume to avoid being associated with any specific city, region, or state in North America.

Please do not order from any ad in Facebook Marketplace that is "Sponsored" I have reports 100's since this happened to no avail. Facebook claims they have removed a coupe but for everyone I report 10 more pop up. So avoid them at all costs. I pretty much knew it couldn't be real but decided to take a chance. It was for a bookstore supposedly closing for good. There are links in the ad that will take you an actual supposed stores website. You place an order for this great sale of books and they claim shipping will occur within 1 day and reach you within 3-5 days. They will offer free shipping if you spend $30 or more. Once you place the order you get this confirmation email. After a coupe days they will send another email that now includes a link w a tracking number to click on follow your shipments progress. But now if not already should be your first red flag because the package is now supposedly coming from China. This will go on for days and eventually it will say it arrived in the United States and is travelling in the USPS network. Long before this I called my credit card company and reported this and in 2 days I had a refund through my CC company. I decided to continue to follow this and discovered that the tracking website is also part of this elaborate scheme. They use the tracking site 718track.com (completely fake). The eventual end to this scam is either suddenly the tracking site says the package was delivered when in fact it has not. But at this point the company now has this information to use if you try to dispute they say here's delivery confirmation and you are screwed. The other option is what my package is now saying. It's been supposedly delivered somewhere and you must now schedule to pick it up (they have the nerve to add "Please be aware you have a limited time to schedule this pick-up. There is no ultimatum but you can bet it will be that you didn't schedule in time and package was returned to sender. I think it's a travesty that Facebook allows these ads to run rampant in their marketplace. It is also a travesty that this is all I can do and no one is working to shut these sites down. I wish I could do more. But I hope this submission to ScamPulse.com will help someone who is being, will be, or has been scammed by these sites. Have included some screenshots showing the tracking site and website for this one scam. But please know the store itself is so elaborate that are literally at least 25 ads running at the same time with all different names and websites and they are the same scammer.

I fell for the scam on Facebook. I paid for the cup, the money was taken out and I never received it. The tracking app said it was delivered but I never received it. I have been in contact with the scammers in regards to getting a refund and they keep saying they will get back to me in regards to where it could be. They wanted to me to confirm my address and I just keep demanding a refund. I guess I’m just lucky they didn’t take more money than they already did.

On 7/1/22 I bought a mirror for $1568.70 from what appeared to be a legit furniture company and website called Moro.com. I even received a promo code thru email and used that for the purchase. I then wrote them an email asking when it would be shipped on 7/13/22. I called the company and spoke to a man named Jose. He told me that the mirror would take up to 3 to 4 months to be manufactured and shipped to my address from Italy. He gave me his email to set up white glove delivery and he would add that to my order. I emailed [email protected] on 8/9/22 asking for white glove delivery and to see if they could delivery on weekends. I then called the company again and talked to a female to ask if they could deliver on the weekend and she told me that they could. Thru the next few months, I would receive many promotional emails from Moro.com also alluding to the fact that it was a legit furniture company.

On 12/2/22, I received an email from [email protected] with [email protected] CCed on the email stating this:

“Hello,

I know you have been waiting on your order for quite some time and our communication around this has been lacking to say the least.

I wanted to provide some sort of clarity around what has been going on. We have processed the orders, paid for production and import, but we have not been able to get these across customs because of issues with our provider. We have had to replace these orders to get them produced and shipped again. This will extend the lead time into the new year and about late Feb.

If you are ok with this please let men know ASAP so we can get this finalized. If not, please also let me know so we can begin the cancellation process and getting your money back. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any additional questions. Thank you!

Best,

Jose Coreas       ?Operations Manager ??

??t. 877-659-3442?e. [email protected] ?w. moro.com??(Formerly WeLivv) “?

I then responded to the email on the same day with this:

“Hi Jose,

Thank you I was about to call.  I understand it can takes months to cross customs.  February is no problem for me.  I can wait.  This mirror is worth the wait!”

I then wrote a second email on that same day asking again for white glove delivery and to make sure I had it because I hadn’t been charged for it yet. That email stated this:

“I did call about adding white glove delivery.  Not sure if I did, I was never billed for it.  Can I add that?”

That same day I then received a second email from Jose which stated this:

“Hello,

Yes. If you are willing to wait until Feb/March for delivery then we can include the white glove delivery free of charge. Thank you for letting me know. Please confirm when you can. Thank you!

Best,

Jose Coreas       ?Operations Manager ??

??t. 877-659-3442?e. [email protected] ?w. moro.com??(Formerly WeLivv) “

I then responded to Jose thru email on that same day 12/2/22 and said this:

“Sure no problem.  I can wait til then.”

February and March came around and I hadn’t heard from the company. I waited 2 more months assuming it would take a while to cross customs. I called the company and left a message, with no response.

On 5/23/23, I emailed Jose, Anel and all the emails that I could find on their website asking “Any word on this mirror order?”. I then received many emails saying “Delivery Status Notification, emails not found” for the email addresses [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. This made me very nervous as I called the company again the number 877-659-3442 had now been disconnected. There website also looked abandoned as the website still exists but none of the photos are now loading.

I then did some research to see if I could find anything about this company and I found reviews online where people stated that Jose Coreas scammed them for many thousands of dollars as they paid for furniture and never received it. These reviews were found on websites trustpilot.com, reviewsbird.com, and bbb.org.

This was a very elaborate plan to scam customers, especially with the promotional emails that I would frequently receive.

I will include all emails in order, the website, and all reviews on Moro.com and Jose Coreas that I can find. Please note that some of the images on their emails and all images on their website are no longer loading. I will mark the important pages including the emails I received from Jose in this packet since there are many pages. Thank you.

I purchased 3 dresses ($145) and with order not fitting description, I contacted the seller by email. The first email said they would refund $30 and I could keep the dresses. I replied saying that I wanted a full refund & to return the dresses. After a few days, I received another email saying they would refund $50 and I could keep the dresses. I replied that this would be my final email & I wanted a FULL refund & information on where to return the dresses. They replied (after 2 days) that the most they would refund was $105 and I had to pay freight charges to return the items. I just sent the items back but am not expecting much as far as a refund. I never order clothing online & am chalking this up to a life lesson learned.

I ordered a Iron Man Helmet on 7/3/23. On 7/10, I contacted the company as I hadn't received any updates. [email protected] responded and provided a tracking # that I was told to watch for my sons birthday present at trackingmore.com. Trackingmore.com also had me download an app called OneLaunch (which has been uninstalled as it's likely spyware). When my son's birthday approached, I contacted the company again, as it had been listed in NY for 2 weeks. They again assured me it was in customs and would be delivered soon. On 7/28, it stated it was delivered (it wasn't). When I reached back out to the company, a NEW email address responded ([email protected]) and informed me that they spoke with the carrier and the item is at my local post office. When I spoke with my local post office on 8/2/23, I was informed that the tracking number is not valid, there are no items for me or my address at their location, and the company is likely a scam. My bank is handling the monetary portion of this loss, but I want this company reported to help ensure no one gets scammed and no one else's 5 year old has their birthday ruined by LOSERS who don't want to work and just steal other people's money.

I purchased a bracelet off of their website and paid via my credit card in the amount of $85. Several weeks later I hadn’t received my purchase, so I emailed customer support, the only information accessible to me. I did not receive any response regarding my inquiry, so over the next three weeks I emailed twice more with no response. I never received my bracelet and I never received a response from Mason and Madison.
