I made a purchase of two designer lamps on Litfad website for $340. The lamps arrived weeks later, were very poorly made counterfeits that did not look like the ones on the website, and importantly the lights did not work when plugged in and switched on. I contacted the "customer service" immediately (only electronic contact option available), requesting a refund. For the last 16 days I am unable to receive return instructions or refund despite 5 written requests. The so called "customer service" continues to ask me for videos of the product or pictures of internal wiring instead of responding to my request for a return and refund. Upon further research, the company seems to be based in China and there are multiple other customer complaints posted on various websites. This is clearly a scam. How can we shut this company down or ban its operations in the US and elsewhere?

I placed an order early December 2022. They said my package was delivered which it was not. I contacted their contact email since they have no phone number. They said the reshipped my items which they have not. They refuse to give me my money back

I was on Facebook and saw an advertisement/ posting for a folding couch/bed. There was an attractive very short video presenting the product. I failed to look at their site critically and made the purchase online, even though there was no phone number on the site. I then googled them: the site "Scamadviser" gave Standonesiy a score of 1 out of 100, which is a very low trust score. "Although 'Standonesiy' has a valid SSL certificate and the site does not contain phishing or malware (according to Flashstart), there are the following negatives: the site's owner is hiding their identity on WHOIS; there is a "high no of suspicious sites on this server"; the registrar has a high % of spammers and fraud sites; the website is very young; the site is not trusted by Trend Micro and has a low Alexia score.

Alarmed, I emailed Standonesiy, and they immediately sent me two emails: 1. an order confirmation that assigned me an order number, and 2. a response to my query: "Thank you for contacting us.

As we checked, your order has been packaged and ready for shipping out.

Please check it a few days later,

and please note that there is a delay in updating tracking information in this online system.

Any questions, please let us know.

Sherry"

The tracking information was in fact not functional and there was no response to my further contacts.

Ordered a bean bag from what looked like the Pal & Thyme store. Never received a package and never received a response back.
Luckily it wasn't much but its totally about the principal.

The company is advertising a nativity set on social media, Facebook and Instagram. The nativity set advertised is shown to be between 3-4 feet in height and width and is advertised at 34.99. What is actually shipped is about is a nativity set that is 25 centimeters high and wide or about 9 and 3/4 inches. It is clearly false advertising and misleading.

I contacted the company by email and they refused to provide me with instructions on how to return the product. They stated that they are based in China and that the return would be expensive for me, Instead they offered me $2 in compensation. We continued to exchange emails on this and eventually they increased their compensation offer to $12. After that I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I just don't want anyone else to be scammed by this company.

Lulueye.com is an online contact lens store. I placed an order in the skinny if $106.94 on January 4, 2023. I received an order confirmation but the order still hasn’t shipped. My order # is # lulu4847, I’ve contacted customer service several times via email but they’ve ignored all correspondence. I don’t believe they have any intention of shipping my order.

Placed an order for two bins and the advertisement was pushed by Facebook. The order was place in 1\4\2023 and finally received my scarfs in the mail on 1\26\2023. This is not the product I ordered and they appears to be no way to complain or get this resolved as after further research this is the company normal business practice.

I thought I purchased 3 statues for 29.91 through Dealsday website. Two weeks later I sent them an email questioning my purchase. I received a reply saying my package was delivered, they gave me a tracking number and told me to check with my post office. A few days before I questioned Dealsday, I received a mysterious box of 5 pairs of socks with a return address as "Only For Returns". The mysterious socks package winds up having the same tracking number that I was given from Dealsday in their email. Their website shows them being in the UK but the label is from China. When I realized I got socks NOT 3 STATUES, I sent them another email saying I've been scammed. They told me to wait until February 6, after their Lunar New Year celebrations are over and they will take care of this. I went on a website called SafelyHQ where you can report things like this, and it seems many people are having the same issue. The package has one label from Only For Returns in Santa Fe Springs CA and underneath that label is one from OP J&T with chinese markings. I am waiting to hear from them, but am not holding out much hope. Please help

The item was never received. It has been over 6 weeks. I have contacted the company many times and they keep telling me it is in transit and will be here soon.

I received confirmation of my order and tracking it said it was delivered and I received a piece of blue material not big enough to use for anything. Tried contacting them more than 5 times no response.

Advertises they have 30 day guarantee and they ship from China and USA. They say you can return the item no problem but then when you try the are very elusive and then they force you to send back to CHina. The shipping costs more then the items purchased. The items are supposed to be organic but they are not and smell so bad of chemicals. The company admits they smell of chemicals and told me to put them outside. They make it so difficult to return the items on purpose so you keep them. The items are not even close to the pictures advertised.

I placed an order on December 15th, 2022. The merchant claimed they company was U.S. based and that it would take up to two weeks for my order to be made but it only took 11 days. On December 26th I received notification that my order was on its way and it's being dispatched from a postal office in my city. Fast forward a week later and the post office still hadn't received it. I contacted the merchant via social media (Instagram) and was not answered for 5 days. When I would get a response, it wouldn't be for days at a time and the blame was always placed on customs. When I would comment on their social media posts, my comments would be deleted a couple days later. Apparently the merchant uses a warehouse based in China and as of today, the couriers in Shanghai never received my physical package. After bringing this to the merchants attention and requesting a refund, because this was meant to be a Christmas gift and it defeats the purpose if I receive it 2-3 months later, they claimed they would ship me a random piece of tapestry, not even the one I originally wanted. After researching the brand, I realized the domain for the website was created in September 2022, just in time to scam for the holidays.

I canceled my order soon after I placed it because I was having surgery on my upper lip and was not able to wear their lip plumper due to certain ingredients. Shopcozzo did not respond after 3 tries. No phone number to call. I tried the product after my doctor allowed it. It did nothing. No plumping at all. It's a plain lip gloss. Thats burns a bit. Cinnamon oil or something most likely. Total scam

This company is advertising dumbbells for sale. They took money from my bank account and when I tried to email them to confirm my purchase, told me that email did not exist. I have went back on the same website and the name has changed

Ordered an outside outdoors nativity set. When it arrive it was flimsy bent, and creased. The material the nativity was terrible. It would fly away. The company refused to reimburse me the full amount is cost. Keep trying to give a percentage off and told me it would cost $20.00 to return. Also indicated if they receive it back and it is damaged they would not reimburse me. The item was damaged when I received it. The company had me send photos and still refused to give me a refund.

I purchchased gloves and a hat. The gloves were supposed to be knitted with yarn. When they came, they were made of material, not yarn. The hat was supposed to fit all sizes, it was too tight and I am not a large person. I sent a request for a return code. I was told it came from overseas and was too expensive to send back. They wanted me to just keep the items and as compensation they would send me a 30% off coupon to do more shopping on their site. The returen policy says that items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. However, it appears that is not the case if they don't want to spend the money to send the item back overseas. I responded that I was not happy with their response and I would not be shopping on their site anymore.

US Silver Eagle coins, only made by the US Mint, 1 oz pure .999 silver. This company does an excellent job of pretending to sell the real coin, even showing testimonials about acquiring silver, but the price is too cheap. So when you read carefully you notice they mention "silver plate". The genuine coin is 100% pure silver. This looks genuine, but is silver plate, and as best I know, when selling a coin that's a copy of facsimile, law requires the work "copy" or "replica" on the rim. Nowhere do they even hint that this is not a genuine, US Mint, Silver Eagle. Only my suspicion based on too good a cost kept me from falling for this.

https://upperchic.com/policies/refund-policy

Please review the refund policy, this website appears to be a scam. The items they sell are misleading. The return policy makes it impossible to return in time. They don't actually sell the items they show in an ad. Something strange is going on here.

- Brooklyn, NY, USA

This website offers subscription-based online streaming that is not legally offered. It asked me as the customer to enter my information including my credit card information, but did not deliver, but it offered. It is a fraudulent website and should be taken down.

- Port Chester, NY, USA

I placed an order on the company’s website on 12/26/2022

Order No: 86594 confirmation email was sent to me and my card was charged. They stated in an email I would receive an email once the item shipped. I have yet to receive any emails since then about my order being shipped. They do not have a contact number and say to send an email to [email protected] but that server seems to not be running because the emails I keep sending to inquire about my order are returned as undeliverable. Please do not order from that site it is a scam and the point of contact is bogus.
